Me and enforcement of Equality Act 3 Years, 4 Months ago
Hallo again. yesterday I went 8 years 11 months post op for a GBM Grade 4. One ofthe things I'm trying to get is enforcement of The Equality Act 2010. There are still too many employers ignorant of this Act and their responsibilities to towards employees that have had a cancer diagnosis. If you are having problems with your employer just point out that if a grievance ends up in court,, an employers failure to failure to embed the Act exposes them to "the imposition of an unlimited penalty" advises The Minister forEqualities
So treat employees with cancer fairly an save yourself money as well as your reputation.

Good luck
David

Some good news.10 years ago today that I emerged from the operating theatre for removal of a Grade 4 GBM. Medics stop trotting out av.survival stats without also telling patients just what is possible. A motivated patient is as relevant as any drugs regime.
